Time Sharing 2023

What changed about the time sharing statute in Florida?

On July 1, 2023 Florida implemented new law regarding time sharing affecting all cases involving children under the age of 18. The new law is designed for the best interest of child. The new standard is rebuttable presumption meaning that unless one parent can prove that equal time sharing is not in the child’s best interest, the court will presume that it is.
