Who are Qualified for L-1A
and L-1B Visas in the US?

L1 visas may not be for all, and the assistance of an L1 Visa lawyer is usually needed for the petition. Unfortunately, the only people qualified for these types of visas are the employees who are going to be moved from a foreign subsidiary, branch, affiliate or parent of a U.S. company who:

• Possess specialized knowledge;
• Possess the capacity or an executive or managerial function;
• Has an employment record for at least one continuous year during the past three years; and
• Has employment in that company with the foreign subsidiary, branch, affiliate or parent of the U.S. company.
